I love knitting with Bamboo needles and do so as often as I can. I did try a Bamboo Crochet Hook, but I wasn't as keen on that.
I find when I use Bamboo needle's my hands don't ache so much, my fingers do not feel tired and cramp up.

Big fan of the bamboo needles too!! They are lighter and warmer and like you say, don't cause so much tiring and cramping in your hands. I love them in all the different styles...from circulars to DPNs to regular straight needles.
I haven't tried DPN's yet but I do have some circular ones and I love them.
I love the bamboo hooks, as well as the bamboo needles! They are a bit expensive, but I think it is worth it!
