Casting on!

I need to learn a new way to cast on,, as I think mine looks too loose, it doesn't always look that great when my Mum arrives from Australia for her 6 weeks holiday I am going to get her to teach me a new cast on method oh and I want to get her to teach me Cable I really want to do cable

teh way I was taught to cast on is sort of 2 rows in one. I've hunted on the net and found written and video instructions....

here's a video clip, you need to look at the second video icon on the page (at the bottom of the "double cast on" section.

it gives a lovely smooth base to your work and is stretchier than the 2 needle method. I bet this gets held in moderation now because of the links..... sigh
